Councillor Blair George has served as Councillor for District #4, which encompasses Cooks Cove to Whitehead and all communities in between, since 1988. Blair has served on numerous committees of Council, including the Milford Haven Home for Special Care, of which he has been a board member for sixteen years.

Blair’s service to the community has reached beyond just Council, including service on the Chedabucto Volunteer Fire Department for over fifteen years, Treasurer for the local Church and volunteer for the Canso and Area Minor Hockey Association. Blair resides in Halfway Cove and is retired from the Department of Transportation and Public Works.
